The Philadelphia 76ers star Tobias Harris is ready to bounce from his penthouse in Orlando, FL. He’s put the swanky residence on the market for $2.5 million.
The 28-year-old forward picked up the top-floor condo in 2015 for $1.69 million, while playing for the Orlando Magic. After his departure from Central Florida, he held on to the primo pad and offered it as a rental in 2018.
Now firmly ensconced in the City of Brotherly Love, Harris is ready to move on from his Orlando digs and cash in on his investment.
Located on the top floor of The Sanctuary, the downtown abode spans 4,800 square feet, and comes with four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, as well as a wraparound balcony with killer views.
Penthouses in the coveted building “rarely come on the market,” according to the listing. It also notes that Harris’ unit offers the ultimate in “views, space, convenience, and luxury living.” Perhaps a current member of the Magic might want to take a look.
The deluxe unit comes furnished and is designed for entertaining, with walls of windows, plus an open-concept floor plan. In addition to an open kitchen with bar seating that adjoins the dining area, the layout also includes a catering kitchen.
The home in the sky offers a large living room with tray ceilings, built-ins, and custom lighting. Striking pendant lighting can be found throughout, and the interiors are covered with marble and wood flooring.
In the kitchen, you’ll find granite counters, as well as Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances. A media area includes a cozy sectional and flat screen.
The dining room includes plush window seating for extra space to perch during cocktail hour, or to take in the sunset.
As for the bedrooms, the deluxe master suite features a morning wet bar, custom closets with built-ins, and a spacious bathroom with oversized soaking tub, shower, and a private water closet with bidet. The additional bedrooms include a guest suite that “rivals the master,” the listing adds.
The 18-floor luxury high-rise offers a full-time concierge and security, a parking garage, and such perks as a fitness center, heated pool, and cabanas. The location is also close to the shops and restaurants of Thornton Park and Lake Eola.
In July 2019, Harris signed a five-year, $180 million contract extension with the 76ers, the richest agreement ever offered by the team at the time, and one of the biggest in the NBA, per Forbes.
Harris played earlier with the Milwaukee Bucks, Detroit Pistons, and Los Angeles Clippers, where he averaged 20 points a game before being traded midseason to the 76ers in 2019.
Erin Wanner with Stockworth Realty Group holds the listing.
