The reason? Just a few years ago, the owners splashed out more than $2.5 million on a renovation, money that the property’s listing agent, Johnathon De Young, confesses won’t be recouped on the sale. The good news for buyers is that the home is priced in line with the market, yet loaded with upgrades so valuable they will only be revealed to perspective buyers by the sellers, who, De Young says, insist on remaining anonymous.
“They are very private people,” the agent says.
When we asked why the unidentified owners had decided to part with the place, De Young would only say, “They are staying in the state, but moving to be closer to … something.”

But only qualified buyers will get the full list of surprises this house holds. And we have to admit, we’re a bit jealous.
