“Brady Bunch” star Eve Plumb is selling her plum piece of Manhattan real estate, according to Dirt. The upscale apartment is available for $1,795,000.
Plum and her husband, Ken Pace, purchased the two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo in 2016 for $1,580,000.
Located in the lively Lenox Hill neighborhood, the high-floor apartment boasts city views from multiple large windows and the balcony.
The bright and airy space offers two private balconies showcasing the East River and Manhattan skyline. The open living and dining areas feature views and space to host dinner parties or cocktail hours.
The small but well-equipped kitchen is renovated and comes with top-of-the line, stainless-steel appliances and granite counters, along with a breakfast bar.
The master bedroom features a private balcony and a bathroom with heated towel racks and rain shower. The second bedroom, which has multiple windows, is currently in use as a home office.
The unit also offers a washer and dryer, which is noteworthy for New York apartments. It comes equipped with high-speed internet and cable.
The building, which was constructed in 1985, is staffed 24/7 and offers residents additional storage space. The 32-floor tower is close to subway lines, shops, restaurants, museums, and, soon, a Trader Joe’s.
All these amenities did not seem to have a hold on the longtime TV star, who told us in 2016 that her favorite New York apartment had actually been a rental on the Upper West Side.
The Southern California native is no stranger to real estate transactions. At the tender age of 11, she and her parents bought a beachfront Malibu weekend house for $55,000. She eventually decided to let go with an asking price of $4.95 million in 2016. Plumb had placed the home on the market two years earlier, but this time around, the 1950s cabin was billed as a tear-down. The new strategy worked, and it was sold for almost $4 million in 2016.
Plumb, who can still be seen on TV, gained fame as the middle child Jan on “The Brady Bunch.” She reprised that role for reunion shows over the years, and more recently, she appeared on the reality program “A Very Brady Renovation” in 2019, which followed the renovation of the real-life home that had been featured in the beloved sitcom.
Plum is also a prolific painter whose works are on display in galleries across the country.
Nicholas Oliver with HomeDax Real Estate holds the listing.
