Rob Gronkowski is keeping his winning streak alive. Now catching passes for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Super Bowl champ has also scored in the real estate world.
The star tight end recently treated himself to a $7 million luxury Manhattan condo in the swanky Hudson Yards development, the New York Post reports.
The dreamy piece of urban real estate is located on a high floor, affording the NFL player city and Hudson River views for his offseason stays.
Gronkowski, 31, also snagged a sweet deal, perhaps benefiting from the pandemic exodus that left many luxury buildings slashing prices.
The property was originally on the market for $8,775,000 back in September 2019, and Gronk scored a deal when he paid a little over $7 million for the place.
The corner apartment includes 2,652 square feet of living space, with three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The “expertly planned” residences boast 10-foot-high ceilings, wide-plank French oak floors, and views of the Hudson River from the great room.
The windowed, eat-in kitchen is outfitted with sleek cabinetry, white marble counters, and Gaggenau appliances, including a wine fridge and coffee maker.
The deluxe master suite features two large walk-in closets, a wall of windows, and a quartzite-clad bathroom with double vanity and soaking tub. The two other bedrooms are also en suite. A powder room, as well as a washer and dryer, are located off of the main hallway.
Designed by David Childs/SOM and completed in 2019, the tallest building in Hudson Yards also offers plentiful amenities. The building houses an Equinox gym, hotel and spa, SoulCycle, restaurants and both indoor and outdoor pools.
Residents also enjoy such perks as a playroom, business center and board rooms, lounge, game room, on-site catering, and a grand terrace. The development is surrounded by parks and is the site of the interactive artwork called the Vessel, and is close to shopping, dining, arts, and the galleries of West Chelsea.
When in Tampa, Gronk rents a three-bedroom penthouse, located on the 28th floor in the Towers of Channelside. Once he left the New England Patriots, he unloaded his Boston condo, selling it in 2019 for $2.3 million. When the fan favorite got the call to join the Bucs, he had been residing in the Sunshine State in a double condo in Miami, which he had snagged for $1.7 million in 2019.
The four-time Super Bowl champion played nine seasons with the Patriots. He then came out of retirement to join his former teammate, quarterback Tom Brady, with Tampa Bay. Gronk recently extended his stay with the team for a one-year, $10 million deal.
